Incredibly beautiful hotel, really enjoyed its welcoming staff and gorgeous breakfast. The breakfast with homemade marmalades was served in the dining room. The location was stunning and marvellous, next to bars and eateries.

Riverside location very close to the stream behind, a pub which was great for dinner and the Lake District, and bars and eateries are next to the hotel. All the staff members are welcoming and pleasant. The units are absolutely perfect with a view.

The location was marvellous, close to the Ulleswater Lake ferry, hiking trails and village pubs for dining, and local shop and easily accessible. Besides, Arnison Crag was just 1 km away.

All is spotless, I had a nice trip. Immaculate, quiet room complete with Velux ceiling windows, snacks, the kitchen. The staff are honest as well as the host.

The location was riverside, just next door to village pubs for dining, the garden and the popular tourist area of Ullswater. Moreover, it was good for exploring Ullswater Steamers, as it's 10 minutes walk away.

Stayed for 1 night, the staff was amicable and very very helpful during all this time. The location was lovely, in hiking Helvellyn via Striding Edge, and my bed was very spacious. It was also adjacent to the Lake District and beautiful garden with plenty seating outdoors.

The room I got was great-sized and nice little with nice bath and loads of books plus a great shower. This hotel was located in a riverside area right by the mountains as well as Patterdale. Also, I was at a moderate distance from Church of st Patrick.

Everything was fab, so were idyllic views of the hills. Tranquil location in hiking Helvellyn via Striding Edge, and the rooms were charming little and spotless. Location: the hotel was so close to local shop, the river from the garden and coast to coast.
